Canaqua Sports is an events marketing company that runs open water swim, Swimrun, and other events and training programs throughout the summer months across North America and beyond. Our goal is to offer top quality programs for all who are interested in joining us. Our events range from beginner to elite, with distances from 1K for our swimming events to 35 K for our Swimrun events.
As a Canadian Company it is important that we keep our local events as a Canadian entity. For this reason, we have branded Mudskipper as the name for our swimrun and open water swim events outside of Canada and around the world. Canaqua Sports Open Water Swim Series
Open Water Swimming started it all. Since our very first event in Ontario, we have grown to where we now run events coast to coast, with distances ranging from 1K to 15K. Many of our events are run in conjunction with Mudskipper SwimRun Challenge events so as to give participants a wide range of option to choose from. Mudskipper SwimRun Challenge
SwimRun is growing around the world, and so is the Mudskipper SwimRun Challenge. Now with races across North America Mudskipper SwimRun continues to evolve and add new events, working hard to build our brand of SwimRun
Our events range from our Mudskipper Mini 5K races to our Mudskipper Championship event with distances up to 30K. Something for everyone. We invite you to come out and give our Mudskipper SwimRun events a try.
Mudskipper Championship Series
As part of our commitment to the sport of swimrun, and to those of you who have taken it on. We are committed to developing not only a great grassroots program to get more people into the sport, but also to have longer and more challenging events to help prepare our athletes for events such as the World Individual SwimRun Championships. To that end, we have created and continue to develop the Mudskipper Championship Series.
Our Championship Races include:- Mudskipper Ontario SwimRun Championships July 19 – Parry Sound On.
- Mudskipper Quebec SwimRun Championships July 26 – St Donat Quebec
- Mudskipper Canadian Individual SwimRun Championships August 16 – Milton ON.
- Mudskipper Fresh and Salty B.C. Championships September 20 – Vancouver B.C.
- Mudskipper U.S. Individual SwimRun Championships - September 27 – Deam Lake Indiana
15K Ultra Swim
Marathon swimming continues to grow in popularity. With more people looking towards a longer event, we have come up with our 15K Ultraswim event as our way of giving Marathon swimmers something a little extra.
