Canaqua Sports is a multifaceted company that runs Open Water Swim and SwimRun events, training programs and sells to clubs and associations across Canada within the swimming world. Our goal is to offer top quality events and training programs to all who are interested while selling top qualify products to anyone who needs them.

Through our sales division, we offer products for clubs and those in the corporate sector, specializing in procuring environmentally friendly item when possible while offering a wide variety of items for your club or corporate needs.

NEW FOR 2023 Canaqua Sports now offers online training programs for swimmers and swimrunners, and we are in the process of setting up Mudskipper SwimRun Clubs in locations across Canada.

Canaqua Sports Open Water Swim Series

Open Water Swimming started it all. Since our very first event in Ontario, we have grown to where we now run events coast to coast, with distances ranging from 1K to 12K. Many of our events are run in conjunction with Mudskipper SwimRun Challenge events so as to give participants a wide range of option to choose from. Mudskipper SwimRun Challenge

After hearing about swimrun in 2016, in 2017 we took on the challenge of bringing this unique sporting event to Canada. After starting with 2 events in 2017, the Mudskipper SwimRun Challenge now run races across Canada, and hosts 4 qualifying events for the Aquaticrunner World Individual SwimRun Championships held in Grado Italy. Training Programs by Canaqua Sports

In 2020 with the growth of our swim and swimrun events, but also as a result of the Covid shutdown Canaqua Sports started offering summer training programs for open water swimming and swimrun. The original idea was that “No one should swim alone” over time our training program has grown to offer swimmers basic open water swim strategies along with endurance training, and our Mudskipper Swimrun programs give anyone with an interest in the sport the chance to train in swimrun before actually entering an event.
